The Matagas brand started from a family-owned business named after a local lake called “Mata”. From humble beginnings in a shed in Silverdale, Auckland 2007, the operation grew so successfully that a larger site was soon needed. In 2014 Matagas moved to the current Onehunga depot and has continued to expand from there. We now have multiple sites servicing our growing customer base across New Zealand…and we are still growing!
Since the beginning, the Matagas brand has been well known for our competitive prices and good service to the community.
